Just as a horse stands upon its four legs, Rancho Loco stands upon the four pillars of presenting a ranch filled with natural beauty, providing experienced and friendly crew, offering awesome experiences to our guests, and doing this all in an environmentally friendly manner. Rancho Loco is a center that is dedicated to providing boarding and caring of horses, training of juvenile horses, riding lessons for beginners and experienced riders alike, and guided horseback tours. Our tours offer a breathtaking experience that everyone should enjoy and we host individual riders, couples, groups and families with children. We also offer facilities for those wishing to celebrate special days and events.
Our guides have been trained to provide safe, friendly and comfortable tours so that riders can enjoy whichever tour they choose. By matching horse with rider according to the rider’s level of expertise we make it possible for anyone to ride with us. We offer both regular group tours and private tours, and we pride ourselves in providing excellent service in all ways possible so as to meet our guests’ expectations. Proper instructions are given before we begin our tours to make sure guests know what to expect. Whether you choose to ride to the Park’s most well-known attraction the Natural Pool where you can swim and contemplate the beauty of nature, or to Moro Beach or on our Sunset Tour, we are committed to providing you with an enjoyable and memorable experience.
Rancho Loco was established in 2012 upon the ruins of Rancho Del Campo (a previous tourist ranch that had been neglected) and is located just outside of Parke Arikok, Aruba's national park. Some animal lovers happened to enter the property and saw the opportunity to create an entirely new concept of what a horse ranch could be in Aruba. The horses are not confined to small stables but instead are able to roam the ranch freely and live like a herd would in the wild, making them well socialized. In addition to being "horse friendly" the ranch is also environmentally friendly. An excellent team takes care of our horses, the ranch property and our daily tours. We grow many different fruits and vegetables at the ranch including soursop, squash, tomatoes, peppers, pumpkins, cashews, papayas and passion fruit, as well as hay to supplement our horses' diet. On June 30, 2014 we welcomed Phoenix, the first colt born on the ranch. He is now grown up and going out on tours. On September 27, 2016 we were blessed again with Honey, our first filly born at the ranch. We provide a relaxed atmosphere for our friends to enjoy. The ranch has a bar where refreshments can be purchased and consumed while enjoying the surroundings. There is also space for special events and celebrations.
